The Indian Premier League (IPL) was established in 2007 by the BCCI Board of Control for Cricket in India. It is held annually in March. In 2024, the Cricket Tournament will hold its eighteenth edition. Cricket fans have eagerly anticipated the tournament's release date. Many companies support the IPL Tournament; the most frequent sponsor is TATA, making it the TATA IPL. The IPL is the only competition where players from various nations join together to compete in separate teams. There will now be ten teams competing in the IPL, up from the previous eight teams.

IPL Auction Date 2024
In order to support the Indian Premier League, which will take place in March 2024, the IPL Auction 2024 will take place. Although the IPL Auction date has not yet been revealed, it is anticipated to take place in Dubai in December 2023. Each team will now receive a budget of Rs 100 crore, within which they must place an offer for one of their players. The players will be chosen through the auction, while the remaining players that the other side has retained are available for grabs by the other teams. Schedule for the BCCI Indian Premier League for 2024
Ten teams of 20 overs each will compete in this league. The following day after the opening ceremony is when the first game will take place. At the conclusion of every game, the number of scores, along with the sixes and fours, will be updated in the statics table. Following every game, the rankings of the teams and players will be updated. The player who performed the best during the game will be named Man of the Match when the results are announced.
IPL 2024 Rules
- Regulations: During each innings, each team will be granted a 2.5-minute strategic time out.
- Only four fielders may be placed outside of the field by the bowling team if they are unable to finish bowling in the allotted time.
- Before the start of the inning, teams are permitted to use the substitution.
- Teams can notify the referee of their eleven players either before or after the toss.
- The team of eleven players will consist of no more than four players.
- The squad can consist of up to 15 members, with a maximum of 8 players.
